David Ellis is one of the UK’s most respected cross-genre photographers with a diverse portfolio that spans both advertising and editorial. He is a photographer and filmmaker of choice for some of the most iconic brands and magazines in the world.

David’s interest in all things visual began as a teenager. A desire to expand his technical understanding later led to a fascination in movie and stage lighting – an evidential influence on the unique ‘filmic’ style he has developed as a commercial photographer.

David’s work is inventive and inclusive. His experience photographing high-profile celebrities with limited time on their hands has also taught him the value of detailed shoot planning and preparation.

By combining his passion for creating beautiful, imaginative and memorable images David has gained an international reputation for consistently producing work that succeeds both commercially and creatively.
